Sometimes nothing beats a good spending time by yourself. Me being an only child, I'm used to just hanging out on my own. You don't have to worry about pleasing anyone or trying to figure out what to do. Now, don't get me wrong with this blog, I'm not saying that I don't like the company of others, it's just that everyone has been busy lately in my life, and it's harder to find the time to be free, even for myself since I have two jobs. Sometimes just taking a bike ride out to Venice Beach is just the thing I need after working at the elementary school. I feel free from society and the drama at home. It would be nice to have a friend to go with if he/she were free, but I can only rely on myself. I want to do whatever I feel like doing and go where ever I feel like going...in Southern California that is haha! Meeting up with people is cool in the long run, but I know how my schedule works and know when I'm free. It just works out that way. It's great to meet people along the way though, but in the end, it's all about the way you want to spend your day.
Even at work, I don't like to be the center of attention. It's nothing personal, just the way I am. I have many friends, but it's the ones that I am closest to where I feel I can just be myself without feeling judged. Life is too short to worry about how people think of you. The way I see it, if people can't respect me for me and my qualities, then they shouldn't even be talking to me.
