Ocean Breeze

Gosh, I forgot how much I miss the beach...and I only live like a little more than 10 blocks away from it! Looking at the ocean, the sunset, the seaguls, people laying and enjoying the breeze and wind was just really awesome. This is the second time this year where I just had a chance to kick it at the beach. Of course I didn't go in the water or anything, since I was not prepared for that and plus Santa Monica Beach is probably the most poluted beach in all of California, but to just lie there and not do anything was great! I hope to do it many times in the future! Now, if I knew how to surf, it would be all the better but I guess just one step at a time.

Living in Santa Monica has become a bit dull I guess you could say, there isn't all that much to do if you are a native here. But hanging out with someone who wasn't really made me realize how much I shouldn't take this city for granted and just all the freedoms you have living here. In the end, I would much rather just live in Venice Beach, but Santa Monica will do for the time being. Nothing beats the sunset and the wind bouncing off your face. To the left of me, there was this kid feeding the birds. He started out with a whole bag of chips and I guess got a little carried away and ended up wasting the entire bag on these birds. And then the parent ended up giving out more food to the birds. I was thinking to myself, Hey, could I have any please? I'm starving! Dang, and then you wonder why people complain about how expensive everything is. They spend it all on feeding the birds! By the end of the day everything was all misty and foggy and I just had to enjoy the rest of the night in the sand. Love the beach and will most likely be there more often...when I'm not working that is lol!
